Quitting with Nicabate® Patches

Well, I’m going to keep this one short and sweet because I’m so excited I’ve got through the entire 10-week programme. I know I’m going to stay strong with the patch. I think I’ve kicked it.  I’m pretty positive that keeping the right attitude will ensure I don’t slip. And I know if I do, I’ll be really angry with myself but make sure that it’s only a one-off event. I feel resolutely like a non-smoker – except when I drink, where I know I need to stay on-guard. But, it’s been really good seeing the support you get from everyone you know.

And getting the messages from the Nicabate Committed Quitters club does make you feel better. You know, at 9 o’clock in the morning an SMS would come through saying well done. You’ve done this, and you’ve done that and it really helped you remember that you’re trying to achieve something really good. It just really reinforces the fact that, after being out of your comfort zone for a bit over two months, you can kick a habit that a lot of people keep for life.

Sure, I’ve had tough moments but the benefits just really shine through. So, here I am, a non-smoker and not sure exactly what to say… except that I’m truly, truly ecstatic. So we’ll just see what happens. Anyway, that’s it. Over and out! Thanks.
